World Congress Report

South-Africa,  friday  02/03/November /2007

The World Congress 2007 was directed by the WPF European President Mr. Arturo Petrarca and the following Countries were present:

Argentina, Belgium, England, France, Germany , Italy,  America, South Africa, Switzerland, Botswana, Holland,  Zululand.  Slovenia, Scotland.

Great success of these world championships 2007, with 14 countries and 110 athletes.

One month before the Congress the  world judge president secretary, in agreement to the rule, sent the Agenda to the above said Countries inviting them to propose further points of discussion. As nobody answered, the final Agenda was the one prepared by the responsible of the General Secretary Office.

Before starting the Congress, all the people present in the room registered  and received a copy of the order of the day.

The European President welcomed the Countries thanking them for their participation and congratulated the organizer of the Championship. He welcomed new delegate from South Africa Ms. Joan Rossi.

The first point of the Agenda concerned the rule for the organizers of International Championship. We would point out that in spite of a formal request sent together with the Agenda, not all delegates in the room wore the W.P. F. official uniform (lack of respect towards the Congress and other delegates!!!).

Starting from next Congress will be not admitted delegates and judges who will not wear W. P. F. official uniform. They are invited to respect the Statute and the rule.

Furthermore a big W.P. F. emblem must be shown in the meeting room  during the Congress (and also on the stage during the contest).

The second point was the organization of European Championship 2008.  The Germany offers the guarantees and the championships  will Take place in Germany in Stuttgart  the days 6-7 of June.

The third point of the Agenda was the organization of World Championship 2008. After a long discussion  French federation proposed to organize World Championship 2008 in La grand motte. the Congress decided that World Championship 2008 will take place in France.

Mr . Petrarca European president  call to talk to world judge president mr. Johan Du Rand,

The world judge president present the new, about the judges.

- Emplem for the jacket, Tie, official card.

Explaning the new rules of the judges:

W.P.F.  judges of all grades are obligated to wear the recommended official dress uniform, when officiating at all levels of championships.

The W.P.F. dress uniform shall consist of a blazer blu  jacket with the appropriate W.P.F. emblem neatly sewn on to the left breast pocket.

Trousers “ skirt for women “ a light grey colour, white shirt with the WPF tie placed neatly in position, shoes of plain black colour.

-The National Federation are request to inform their nominated judges  they have to attend the meeting and the    competition wear the dress uniform.

-All judges shall be qualified member of a W P F affiliated federation

-The National Federation is responsible for the own judge

-National Federation shall appoint for the International Championships  own judge.

After two years the category fitness man   becomes official.
